Nunawading District Cross Country
Congratulations to our District Cross Country team for their outstanding performance at the recent Nunawading District Cross Country held at Ruffey Lake last Monday. The Rangeview students showcased exceptional school spirit and determination, earning them the well-deserved title of overall District Champions for the second year running. Their unwavering dedication to training and run-club was evident throughout the competition day, propelling them to this fantastic victory.
In addition, we are proud to announce that an impressive total of 13 Rangeview students have advanced to the Division finals. This achievement highlights the remarkable skills and commitment displayed by our runners as they continue to develop their long-distance running abilities.
We would like to express our gratitude to our wonderful families for their support on the day and during Run-Club and training sessions. A special mention goes to Clint Anderson for his invaluable assistance during training and warm-ups on the day. Thank you also to Mr McDonald, Mr Anderson and Mrs Warfield for all their help on the day. Go Rangeview!
Whitehorse Division Cross Country
This week, 13 Rangeview students (Collette, Olivia, Paddy, Riyon, Emily, Gisele, Will, Jared, Ayla, Lenny, Oli, Thomas and Joel) competed in the Whitehorse Division Cross-Country finals at Ruffey Lake Park. All our students put in a fantastic effort and should be so proud of their achievements at this high level of competition. Special congratulations to Collette, Paddy, Riyon, Will, Jared, Lenny who all finished in the top 12 and have now qualified for the Eastern Regional Cross-Country finals in June. Amazing job!!
