Teams and Captains

The Country Week coaches formed a panel this week to nominate and vote for school captains. We are excited to release the result of this in the coming days. Team coaches have also coordinated the nomination of team captains for each sport. 

 

Teams are looking on track for Country Week, however we have had a few changes. Please see the current teams lists below.

 

Uniforms

Our CW uniforms have been handed out and look great! Just a reminder that these have been invoiced to your school account. 

 

Itinerary and Fixtures

All published fixtures have collated and sent out via email. They are also attached for you below. Parents - please visit the School Sport WA Website or contact your student to double check fixtures if you are planning to spectate at Country Week, as times are subject to change.

Travel Information

If you are departing for Country Week with the College, please aim to arrive by 2:00pm on Sunday the 25 June 2023 so we are ready for a prompt 2:30pm departure.

  1. If you need to take the late bus from Cunderdin, this will leave at approximately 4:30pm (subject to change and all parties will be notified of any change).
  2. Could parents/students please ensure that they make contact with Miss Sharpe to notify their intended travel arrangements as soon as possible.

Other Important Information

The netball team will be staying at the Discovery Parks Swan Valley Chalet accommodation with Mrs Aynsley and Miss Sharpe. The other teams will be staying at Guildford Grammar. The netball team will attend meals, rec time and activities at Guildford Grammar as to not miss out on the fun!

  1. Any students that have an injury arise will need to make sure that they receive a medical clearance before Monday 19 June 2023 in order to be able to attend Country Week. Thank you to those who have forwarded their clearances.
  2. A reminder for students to ensure they are meeting all the obligations that they agreed to in their Country Week student contract. This means regularly attending training and doing the right thing across the College. Remember - if you lose your Good Standing after Week 8, this will make you ineligible for Country Week!
  3. Bedding allocations and a suggested packing list will be given out to students this Friday (Week 8) at lunch time.

Only 10 more sleeps and we will be on our way!
