Pastors' Breakfast

By Linda Goldrick

It is a wonderful experience to break bread with people that you are familiar with or are deepening relationship with. What a blessing to invite our students' Pastors to breakfast and understand a little better some of the significant influences outside of the school community that are in our students lives. Thank you to our school for providing this opportunity!

Last Thursday, BHCS had the amazing opportunity once again to host our 8th annual Pastors Breakfast - a time for the school to show how grateful we are for the local pastors, church leaders, and people in our community who spend countless selfless hours, sowing into the next generation of leaders.

We started the breakfast with the song ‘In Christ Alone’ led by myself and some of the other school leadership team. It was a powerful moment that set the tone for the rest of the morning. Although everyone gathered had different backgrounds, denominations and titles, the song cemented why we were here because we gather under no other name but Jesus. You could feel God’s hand over the entire morning as relationships were grown and begun.

Courtney White talked about the new ‘Positive Education’ initiative the school has started this year and the benefits of not just teaching kids the importance of 2+2, but also the privilege the school and community has to impart positive relationships, thinking and health.

We are incredibly fortunate here at BHCS to have the opportunity to bless and thank everyone who supports the school and community.

I'd love to thank everyone who came to the breakfast, and those who weren't able to - thank you for imparting into the lives of the kids here.
