Week 4 News - Angas takes the Cup

Unbelievable, what a day! Well done to Team Angas for taking out the Primary Sports Day Cup and also to our age winners. It was great to see so many of you enjoying the day and exhibiting our School’s RISE values.  Thank you to the teachers, student helpers, and parents/carers for your loud cheering and wonderful encouragement of all.

A special thank you must go to Mr Jason Schulz for organising the day. All going to plan, Sports Day in 2021 will be back during Term 1.

One50Dance

During the week we had a great assembly led by the Yr 5 class.  Their delivery of the story ‘The Prodigal Son’ was most entertaining.  We also had the pleasure of welcoming the dance group One50, sharing a message of Hope, Truth and LOVE! I wonder what students went home and ‘busted a move’ in front of the family?

Student Representative Council (SRC)

It has been wonderful to witness the leadership development occurring within our SRC Representatives.  We have been meeting weekly to discuss ideas from their classmates.  There have been many proposals put forward.  The most recent decision from the SRC is to include more sporting events at lunch times.  It was decided that during lunch on Wednesday Week 6, the SRC will run a soccer event. It will be open to all Primary students. Well done team, you are representing your classes beautifully.

 SAPSASA Results

And on top of all this, Tyndale Primary took out Handicapped winners for SAPSASA Athletics in recent weeks!

Alana broke the record for the 200m!

Alana will go on to represent our region at the SAPSASA Athletics State Competition where she will run in the 100m, 200m events and relays.

Well done to all the students who competed so well displaying wonderful sportsmanship.

Have a wonderful Week 5!
