Children’s Book Council of Australia Book Week

As part of the CBCA Book Week, students from K-10 will dress up as their favourite BOOK character followed by our usual Story Sharing rotations on Friday 25th August.  Parents are very welcome to attend the Book Week Parade from 9.15-10am.  With the holidays coming up it is a great opportunity for students to start finding and creating the costumes!

During Book Week we will also be holding our annual Scholastic Book Fair.  During the week there will be a range of books suitable for K-10 students, available for purchase from the Learning Centre.  Further information to follow.

The Premier’s Reading Challenge finishes on Friday 23th August (Week 6, Term 3).  These holidays are a great time for students to catch up on their reading and fill out their Reading Log.  If your child has forgotten their password and username please don’t hesitate to send me an email or have your child come and see me.
