Over the past 2 weeks North Geelong Secondary College have welcomed local Primary School Grade 6 students and teachers to the College. The students eagerly participated in various interactive activities from the areas of Science, Art, Food Tech, IT and PE.

Holy Family Primary School, Hamlyn Banks Primary School, St Thomas Aquinas Primary School, Bell Park North Primary School, Ashby Primary School and Herne Hill Primary School all attended and the feedback from both the students and teachers was very positive, to say the least. The favourite activities being PE and Science (making fluffy slime), not to mention the delicious cookies that were also made and mostly eaten by the time their bus arrived to take them back to their Primary Schools.

The students' smiling faces said it all and North Geelong Secondary College hope to see all of the families again at the Open Night Thursday 10 March. This will provide an opportunity to view the College and the wonderful amenities it has to offer these students for the next phase of their learning opportunities in the future.

CALD Women's Group

The CALD Women's Group joined the Multicultural Beach Safety Program and North Geelong Secondary College would like to thank Life Saving Victoria and CatholicCare Victoria for organising this program. This multicultural education program was held at Cosy Corner Beach, Torquay and helped parents to learn about water safety, board paddling skills, rescue techniques, lifejacket use and beach flags. A great day was had by all who participated.
