Our Beloved Library has been a hive of activity throughout Term 1.  We have welcomed a wonderful group of new Year 7 students who grace us with their presence most days. We are so enjoying getting to know them.

To be re adjusting to our present reality of non-interrupted schooling has been something that we are all well aware of.  After two years of Covid-19 and its consequences we need to accept it impact on us all.....time is needed to healing.

We all do our best, remain patient, tolerant and kind……with all that is happening in our precious world we know how truly Blessed we are, living where we do.

It is interesting to note that the “theme” for International Womens’ Day as created by the United Nations for 2022 is –“Changing Climates: Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.

The theme recognises that women and girls are leading efforts on climate action, and acknowledges the important, uncomfortable fact that women and girls are “more vulnerable to climate change impacts than men.

“God help us

If our world should grow dark;

And there is no way of seeing or knowing.

Grant us courage and trust

To touch and be touched

To find our way onwards

By feeling.

Amen.”

Michael Leunig.
