GD Swimming Carnival 

On the 22nd of February, our qualifying swimmers from the house swimming competed in the GD level at the Hamilton Olympic Pool. After a strong day of competing, Monivae placed 1st overall in the Girls Aggregate and 2nd in the Boys Aggregate. Monivae also placed 2nd overall to College, in the combined team scores. 

 

We would like to congratulate all competitors who represented Monivae on the Day. A special congratulations to Harrison Hein, Jake Hausler, Hayley Jellie and Zoe Rouse for winning age champions for their respective age group. A huge shout out to Hayley Jellie who broke a 49 year old record at the GD level. 

 

We would also like to acknowledge our Swimming Captain for 2022, Jake Haulser and Zoe Woolridge. 

 

House Athletics 

The House Athletics was contested on Friday the 4th of March. It was a great day with the weather holding back, which allowed our school sports to be continued until the end of the day. There was a wide range of contribution from all year levels as well as encouragement amongst the students.

GWR Swimming 

Congratulations to the qualifying competitors who made it to the GWR level in Horsham which is being held on the 18th of March. 

 

GD Athletics
