INSPIRING CURIOUS MINDS

Our focus for Term 4 is Gardening!

As the holidays are fast approaching I thought it would be a great idea to celebrate some of the incredible gardens around Melbourne. Perhaps you will have a chance to visit one of these in the summer holidays?!

Cranbourne Botanical Gardens

You can do the Australian Landscape Walk or even bring a bike and ride through the gardens, there is even a water area for very hot summer days.

McClelland Sculpture Park

There are so many interesting sculptures here to explore, the kids will love this hands on walking outdoor gallery. There are also many spots to sit and picnic!

Fitzroy Gardens

This is a wonderful place on a hot day, there is plenty of shade and enormous old trees to sit under. There are many fountains, statues and buildings of interest dotted around the gardens, including a mini Tudor Village. I wonder if you could find this fairy tree while you are there?

Ripponlea

You can do tours of the mansion that sits within the gardens here and these holidays there is even a Shaun the Sheep: Hide and Sheep trail to follow, lots of fun to be had!
