Friday 27 January - Office opens and teachers commence

Monday 30 January - Year 12 and year 7 students commence

Tuesday 31 January - Unit 3 & 4 classes commence 

Wednesday 1 February - Years 11, 10, 9 & 8 students commence

School term dates

MGSC follows the school calendar set by the Department of Education. Please note that the 2026 school terms dates have been changed due to the Commonwealth Games being held across Victoria from 17 to 29 March.
