Safer Internet Day - Connect, Reflect, Protect

Your children may have the opportunity to participate in free Classroom Webinars that ‘look at how we can use our voice to make things better online for ourselves and others.
By the end of the learning students will be able to:
- identify the different ways we connect online
- reflect on how connections, posts and comments can affect themselves and others
- develop ways to protect themselves using help seeking and reporting strategies. The eSafety Commissioner does not record or provide copies of the slides.
You may wish to participate in free Parent Webinars.
Term 1 topics include:
- eSafety 101: how eSafety can help you (30 minutes) For parents and carers of young people in primary and secondary school.
- Setting your child up for success online (30 minutes) For parents and carers of young people in primary school.
- Getting the most out of gaming (45 minutes) For parents and carers of young people in primary and early secondary school.
- Navigating online friendships (30 minutes) For parents and carers of young people in secondary school.
