 When celebrities come to town! 

We were blessed to have a visit from past student and singing sensation - Isaiah Firebrace last week!

Isaiah was in town promoting his debut picture book - Come Together - a heartwarming story that connects his personal story to Indigenous culture and history.

Isaiah was incredibly generous with his time, not only discussing his book but also sharing his inspiring journey with our staff and students - from his time at St Joseph's, to his blast to fame as winner of X-Factor in 2016, to representing Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest and now becoming an author.

Isaiah's dream is for Aboriginal history to be taught in every classroom and we couldn't think of a more kind, hardworking and passionate person to be lighting the way.

Copies of his book are currently available in the College library and we strongly encourage everyone to check it out!
