Finishing Strong!

The end of the year is always extremely busy for families and here at school, we’re no different!  We’ve packed Term 4 with as much as we possibly could so that we can see out 2022 with a bang. We are very close to finishing the year and I would like to remind parents that all students must attend school until the last day of term.  We will continue to offer stimulating classroom programs that will celebrate and motivate your child to continue to learn. There are a number of fantastic activities planned so please remind your child the value of completing goals and attending school.

Our Generous Community

Many thanks to our families who have donated gifts to our raffles and annual Christmas gift drive, second hand uniform, pre loved Lego and craft/haberdashery items have helped resource our wellbeing programs. Thoughtfulness, gratitude and acts of kindness have been clearly evident as students and parents have made generous offers to support our community throughout the year.  Please know that children learn from the adults around them so in this process of acting compassionately, you do change life for yourself as well as others. The Xmas spirit is alive and strong in Woori Yallock. On behalf of the Welfare team, thank you for making our work with your children so enjoyable. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

Christmas Hampers Available

We have ordered Christmas hampers from Food Bank. If you are interested in getting one please speak to the Wellbeing Team.

State School Relief

We can help families who are experiencing financial hardship to purchase school uniform and/or shoes for school.  Please see the Wellbeing Team for assistance.

Don’t forget about second Hand Uniform!

Thank you to the many families who continue to purchase second hand uniform. We currently have a lot of school jumpers and summer dresses in stock and Jeanette and I can help you out when our Community Pantry is open. Parents and carers can purchase items from $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. All monies raised are invested back into the school and the welfare programs which support our students.  Please keep those clothing donations coming!

This year it has been great catching up with students, parents and carers.  If you need help with school uniform, a food hamper or enquires for other services please call Jeanette, Lily or myself. We really hope all our families have less stress more happiness over the Christmas holiday period and that everyone can reboot and recharge.  See you back in Term 1!
