International Students

International Student Program 2023

The International Student Program has welcomed a range of new students to the school this year.  We have students from Austria, Cambodia, China, Korea and Vietnam joining us to study and participate in our courses and extra-curricular activities.  The students have made a very quick adjustment to school life in a new country, wearing their uniform proudly, learning to use Compass and finding their way around the building.

Some students are surprised that they haven’t seen a kangaroo as yet, others have already tried meat pies and fish and chips and pronounced them delicious!  Melbourne’s weather always poses a dilemma but they are getting used to the idea of wearing sunscreen and bringing an umbrella!  For some it is their first time away from family and so homesickness is a reality for them.  However, they are all eager to learn and to make the most of their opportunities in a new environment.  We welcome them and urge the school community to reach out and connect with their new peers.
