Seasons Greetings & A Happy New Year
Another year goes by. After 2 years of a lull, it was wonderful to experience the hustle bustle of 2022.
On behalf of the PFA, we would like to express our sincere thanks to the wonderful teachers at our school who have stood by our students through each and every stage of their journey and helped them achieve their utmost best.
A big thank you to the entire EDSC community for the support given to the teachers and students.
This year we bid farewell to a very valued member of our committee (Clive) as his youngest graduates from the school. As we bid farewell to some, we hope to welcome many new parents from the school community into our committee and look forward to seeing many of you in the new year.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

The PFA will hold its next monthly meeting in the new year. Please look out for the date in the first newsletter of 2022. If any new members of the school community would like to join in, please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will very happily add you on to the distribution list.
26 November 2022 – State Election Sausage Sizzle
Election Day Sausage Sizzle on Saturday 26 November 2022 was a very successful event with a great turn out.
Special thanks to all the volunteers including some past parents for this event who contributed their time and effort.
A very special thanks to all the young students of the school who worked very enthusiastically alongside the PFA committee to make the day a brilliant success.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank Bakers Delight, The Pines and Mr Spanos from Thornbury Community Church for their generous donation of bread towards this event.

Xmas Rocky Road
Ingredients:
500gm dark chocolate cut into small pieces
120gm marshmallow cube form
120gm Turkish delight any flavour
100gm pistachio or walnut or roasted peanuts
40gm freeze dried raspberry bits (optional)
Method:
- Line a 24cm square baking pan
- Place chocolate into a bowl and melt over a pot of hot water, slowly stir until it is melted
- Add all the dry ingredients into the melted chocolate, mix until they are coated with chocolate. Pour the mixture into the tray, sprinkle the dried raspberry bits on top and let it set at room temperature
