School Update

With the end of term holidays just around the corner I thought it would be a good idea to inform our community of some future structural developments that will be happening at our school. These will hopefully be happening over the holidays and into term 3.

Firstly we will be having a new school sign made and mounted to the front of our school entrance. Thanks to Danthonia Designs for helping create some beautiful signage for our school.

We will be looking at ordering 5 totem displays from Danthonia with our school core values and the Kamilaroi language interpretation. We are unsure where these will go however once ordered and in our hands we will be able to identify the best suited space for them.

Secondly we will update our gardens around the basketball court and next to the colorbond fence. Here we will erect some retaining walls and fill with soil so we can begin planting plants in term 4. There will also be a Yarning circle made under our lovely trees on the oval. Here we will use sandstone blocks to create a beautiful cultural space. Thanks to Mrs Whalan for helping organise this project.

And finally we have placed an order for a new large school banner to be placed onto the Parish fence. This banner will have updated pictures and information. Thanks to Tahnee from our Armidale office for creating this beautiful design.

All of these projects have become available due to the support of the Armidale Office and Diocese. We are very fortunate to make this amazing school look and reflect the beautiful students, families and staff we have here. Thank you to all who have helped in creating opportunities for our school to grow.

Thanks
