SOCK (Save Our Country Kids) Week is all about our children's safety, what services are available and how you can tap into them. 

The Year 1/2 Class have been invited to join Nungarin Primary School, along with other surrounding schools for a SOCK Week event. 

• The day will consist of leaving MDHS at 9:20am on a bus and arriving at Nungarin Primary School in time to have an early recess and play.
• Nungarin P.S have the local Police, St Johns Volunteers, DFES volunteers, Wheatbelt Ag Care along with some local machinery.  The children will hear about each group's role in the community and enjoy an inspection of the relevant vehicles and machinery.
• The idea is to bring emergency services together with our students to reinforce country kids safety.
• There will be a free sausage sizzle for all children and staff.
• Children will need to bring their hats, water bottles and lunch boxes/snacks with them for the day.

There is no cost for this excursion, thanks to our very generous P&C for covering the bus costs
