Drone Course At TAFE Proves Popular
Six eager WWHS Year 10 students participated in a free four week beginner's drone program at Narrabri TAFE. Students learnt foundational skills in using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), otherwise known as a drone. Student learnt to remotely pilot the drone and how to operate and control remote pilot aircraft systems. On the last day of the course and after being awarded their Cert III in Aviation (Remote Pilot), students joined in a celebratory lunch with their teachers Trim (Theresa) Munro and Jackie Sheehan, along with TAFE's, Leanne Hayne to acknowledge their learning and achievement. Sincere thanks to TAFE Narrabri and Ms Blewitt for making this opportunity possible.
