WHAT'S COOKING?

Year 12 Food Studies

Earlier this term, the Year 12s recently explored the emotional and social role of food. They created a range of different jams, including flavours such as pear and vanilla, raspberry and chia seeds, apricot and mixed berries.

 

Students enjoyed eating their jam and homemade scones with their mates, with some jam even making its way home to loved ones as gifts.

Year 10 Food and Culture

Year 10 Food and Culture students recently worked on their World of Food Assignment where they researched a country of their choice.  They  then had to design a recipe reflecting that country’s traditional cuisine.

 

Miss Iggy’s class created dishes from Italy, Mexico, India and China.

Year 9 Sponge Cake Decorating

Students in Ms Nevin's and Ms Smith's Year 9 Food Studies - Food Preparation Skills classes did a fabulous job decorating their sponge cakes.  All the cakes look amazing!
