Prep Enrolments 2021

Enrolment forms for Prep 2021 can be downloaded from our website or the PDF below. It would be great if these applications could be submitted by the end of May 2020 to assist us with planning. Please scan and email the completed application via the school email. The application may also be received via the post.

Current Rollins families with a sibling joining us in Prep for 2021 are asked to complete an enrolment form ASAP.

If needed, you can call 52 783 022 or email rollins.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au to obtain an enrolment form too.

Many Thanks to Everyone

As we work towards a return to school next week I would like to take this opportunity to thank all community members for helping us through this most difficult period in our lives. Many of our families have endured significant

emotional and financial hardship in the past months. Hopefully, in the coming months things will return to the "new" normal.

A special thank you to all our parents who in the past weeks  have added teaching to their parenting role. There have been a number of challenges along the way, but you have managed to work your way through the hiccups and do the very best you can for your children.

My staff has also been absolutely amazing and without their dedication and enthusiasm to make this work, we would have all floundered along the way.

Leading a school through an oval upgrade, a capital building project and corona virus has been extremely demanding, and at times, exhausting. I have been ever so fortunate to have had  tremendous support from Tim Callaghan. I know I would have struggled to make the distance without such a professional , dedicated and insightful  co-leader. Thank you so much Tim for everything you have done and the support you continually offer to our Rollins community.

Principal's Pondering

A Growth Mindset message...

Research has explained a growth mindset as ‘a willingness to confront challenges, viewing failure as a springboard for growth, and a passion for learning. Not surprisingly, this type of mindset is strongly linked to greater happiness and achievement in life.’ Children who are happy, comfortable, safe and confident have a greater outcome with learning and socialising.

Here’s a child friendly video as made by one of our communication apps, Class Dojo, that explains it brilliantly.
