For this newsletter I will continue the theme of reintroducing the team. 

This is Emily, she is the assisting Educator here at Brookside OSHC. Emily has worked at the service for 3 years and it currently studying her Bachelor of Education. Something fun you may not know about Emily is she loves photography and uses her spare time to carry this out as a hobby, taking photos of friends, family and locations. 

The team and I are still carrying out our COVID safe practices in the service and will continue to do so to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved in the service and school community. 

We have been busy in the kitchen over the last 2 weeks making some of our favourite Camp Australia recipes. A very popular recipe was the delicious banana bread cupcakes we made last Friday for afternoon snack. What a hit! The children love being involved in the cooking process and of course, tasting their own work at the end. 

Sunday 10th was Mother’s Day so the children were involved in some Mother’s Day crafts. Many of the children made and decorated beautiful candle holders using paint to give as gifts to their special someone. These looked fantastic and the children were very eager to give them as gifts.
