YEAR 10 END-OF-YEAR ARRANGEMENTS

We refer you to the calendar in this newsletter highlighting the end-of-year arrangements for our Year 10 students in the last week of November (exam week) and the first week of December. There are three Year 10 student-free days in these last two weeks you need to be aware of.  Also a two-day orientation program on Thursday and Friday, 5th and 6th December, in support of students going from Year 10 to Year 11. We need all our Year 10 students to be in attendance on the relevant days as much work has gone into this new schedule.

YEAR 8 TRANSITION UPDATE:

To date three groups of fifty Wanganui Park Year 8 students have travelled to Mooroopna Secondary College to continue the transition process. This weeks visit allowed students to experience the 2020 Principal Leadership Team as well as the Neighbourhood Leaders. Students were placed into classes with students from McGuire, Mooroopna and Shepparton High school and then rotated through five engagement stations, each conducted by a leadership team member. Next weeks visits involve undertaking a 70 minute lesson in either Art, P.E, Science or English.

YEAR 7 AND 8 INCURSION

All Year 7 and 8 students will attend a health and wellbeing incursion entitled, "Smashed" on Monday 18th November. Gibber production company have been sponsored by Diageo Australia as part of their commitment to reduce underage drinking and alcohol-related harm.
