STAYING ACTIVE REMOTELY

Over the course of remote learning the PE department has been busy providing opportunities and experiences for the school community to stay fit and active. From daily workouts with MCK50, fun fitness challenges including best trick shots and keepy up’s, to the Virtual Cross Country Carnival and Weekly Dance Sessions.

The good news is, that while we return to school, these activities will continue until the end of term.

Here is how you can get involved:

  • Join or continue to participate in the daily MCK50 workouts: don’t forget to fill in your log book for the chance to go into the fortnightly Rebel Voucher draw;
  • Keep an eye on compass and google classroom for the dance sessions released on Wednesday and Friday’s;

  • Download or log into Strava and participate in the final House Challenge for Semester 1, to see which house can travel the furthest. More details will be on compass soon.

Stay Active…

RETURN TO JUNIOR SPORT

All Junior Students will participate in the Term 2 Sport Education programme at the usual timetabled time for the remainder of the term.

All students have been allocated a Term 2 sport and this will appear on their compass timetable.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

  • There is NO opportunity to swap their sports for the remaining sessions;
  • Students MUST have their own labelled waterbottle as the bubble taps and fountains will be out of action;
  • Children are to remain at home if unwell.

Please take time to read the following document advising the procedures and protocols undertaken to allow a safe and hygienic environment for the return of sport:
