OUR MCKINNON MASTERCHEF JOURNEY CONTINUES

When we first commenced our remote learning experience, we invited our Year 7 Food Technology students to cook the assigned recipes at home. We also encouraged their family members to assist and suggest modifications to suit their family’s palette.

As you may be aware, we have already shared the wonderful and very moreish photos of the Anzac biscuits that were made in lockdown and the recipe. The feedback we received was truly wonderful and we are so pleased you have enjoyed the recipes and experiences with your kids.

Vegetable Risotto, Pizza, Stuffed Jacket Potatoes and Sausage Rolls were just some of the items also on the menu, as well as a recipe of the student’s choice including chocolate.

Many students shared their photos and this not only gave the staff insight into their cooking skills, but also provided us with much pleasure. The results were awesome!

Diego produced excellent sausage rolls
Misha YUDKO  showed us his skills at making pizza and could not stop at one!
Alan SMUSHKOV  took the vegetable Risotto to the next level and made duck and mushroom risotto
Paige REDLICH  sausage rolls
Nathan YAHALOM
A chocolate inspired trifle

We hope you enjoy the photos we are sharing and we look forward to having our students back in the kitchen showing off their skills very soon!
