Year 7 Camps

The biggest event of the past few weeks in the Junior Sub-School was during week eight, when our Year 7 students attended one of two overnight camps in Anglesea, where new friendships were formed and students were pushed outside of their comfort zones. Both school staff and Burnside Camp staff were very impressed with the engagement and efforts of all students and the positive “have a go” attitude shown by all of the kids. Activities included a High Ropes course, Low Ropes course, Bike riding, Archery, Flying Fox, Zip Lining, Initiative activities and Beach activities. The positive feedback afterwards was fantastic to receive and some of the dance moves produced during evening activities were mind blowing!
