Year 11 Biology
Student have been designing experiments in class for the past few weeks. Here are some of our Year 11's enjoying the group activities.
Year 10 Core Science
Year 10 Core Science students conducted a practical on how much force it takes to set off a party popper " volcano". They were very surprised to discover the number of masses added to the party popper before the eruption. Definitely a very loud and explosive class!
Co-Curricular Program
Our students are enjoying teaching and helping the girls in the Robogals class for co curricular. So wonderful to see not only the primary school students but our students engaged in the group activities, learning from one another.
Our co-curricular program ended early this term due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation which is a shame, but we are planning to return next term once schooling returns to normal.
ESV - Neuroscience
Hands on practical in the ESV studio this week. Ms Bohni dissected a brain for the Neuroscience class online much to the delight to her virtual participants.

Year 11 Chemistry
Year 11 Chemistry students have been studying covalent molecules and intermolecular forces. They conducted a slime practical to investigate the different intermolecular forces present
Core Science Excursion
As part of their study on minerals an rocks, Year 10 Core Science students visited the Monash Rock Garden to investigate the different classes of rocks: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Rocks rock!
Environmental Science Excursion
Year 12 Environmental Science excursion to Werribee Zoo was a great success and our students learnt a lot about the Eastern Barred Bandicoot and the important role Zoos Victoria play in conserving some of Victoria, and Australia's, most endangered species.
