Earn & Learn

Earn & Learn Program

We are writing on behalf of a group of students and teachers at St Bede’s College who have recently participated in the College’s annual Outreach Program.  As you would all be aware, the aim of our trip is to build new facilities for a Lasallian school that provides free education to students who cannot afford it, and houses a number of orphans who do not have a family to live with.

The school runs entirely off donations given by schools such as St Bede’s College and the money we raise on Mission Action Day.  However, in the hope of contributing further in aiding the education of these children, we again ask for the benevolence of the St Bede’s College community.

Currently, ‘Woolworths’ are running a new ‘Earn and Learn’ program which provides stationary and other schooling equipment to schools across Australia. This stationary is earnt through collecting numerous ‘stickers’ that each equate to $10 spent at the store.  We politely ask families who shop at Woolworths to collect these stickers on behalf of the College and that students bring them into school.

Customers, who shop at Woolworths Mentone, can simply put their ‘Earn and Learn’ stickers which they’ve accumulated, straight into the box we have set up inside the store.  These donations will then be sent over to Thailand with our next outreach group.

On behalf of St Bede’s College and our Outreach program, we acknowledge and thank you for your continual support and generosity.  We hope that we can raise a considerable number of stickers and consequently make a substantial difference to the school and the kids in Thailand.
