Singing Lessons

Oakleigh Grammar is excited to introduce singing lessons as part of the 2019 Instrumental Program. If you would like your child to participate in singing or learning how to play an instrument, please return the form that was sent out via email to the front office by the end of this week. A Message from Admissions.

Waiting lists are now growing longer for entry into many years at Oakleigh Grammar from the ELC through to Senior School.

If you or a friend wish to enrol your child feel free to join us on one of our monthly Tour Days and complete an enrolment application or download the form here.

Financial Assistance - Camps, Sports & Education Fund (CSEF)

CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible (means-tested concession card) families cover the cost of school trips, camps and sporting activities. Please contact Nick Nicolou: nnicolou@oakleighgrammar.vic.edu.au if you have any questions regarding this. 

Please note that only eligible families who have not applied in 2018 need to fill out an application form. Families who applied in 2018 will be automatically rolled into 2019 unless their eligibility has changed.

Absentee Line

The Absentee Phone Line and e-mail address can be used by parents to report student absences promptly and conveniently.  

Simply phone the line and state your child's name, year level, estimated duration of and reason for absence after the tone. 

Your message will be sent directly to Student Services so that your child's absence can be recorded. Reports of absences WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED via any other means other than those listed below.

Leaving us in 2019?

Remember - one terms notice is required in writing to the Admissions Office if your child is not returning to Oakleigh Grammar.

Parking Courtesy

Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking your car at drop-off and / or pick-up times. We understand that parking is limited in the area, especially at this time, however please avoid parking across or partially blocking residents' driveways.

Please do not double park cars at any time - a number of staff and community members have been blocked in many times and this is should be avoided.

Please also be mindful of pedestrians in the area. It is a 40KM/HR zone at all times, and there is a lot of foot traffic around the school, presenting a number of hazards to be aware of. Safety first!

Lost Property

Please check your child’s school uniform to ensure they have not accidentally taken a peer’s blazer / sport jacket / etc. home with them by mistake.

Please also ensure all of your children’s uniforms are clearly named to ensure the correct uniform is returned to them if found in the playground or taken to lost property at the front of the canteen.

We have several blazers and jumpers that have been left at reception with no name on them. Please visit the front of the canteen or contact reception@oakleighgrammar.vic.edu.au to make an inquiry. 

Update Your Email Address

A reminder to families to please ensure that you are not missing out on important information for your child/children and please ensure your email contact details are current as all correspondence from the School is via Email and Parent Paperwork.

Dobsons Uniforms

The Dobsons website has been upgraded over the holidays, now featuring a buy online option here!

They can deliver the uniform to home or office and offer immediate ‘click & collect’ facilities which reduces the danger of carrying cash to school.
