Thank you Emma, Ben, Michelle, Jasmine and Shaz who helped run the Book Fair. We sold $2,695 worths of goods, which gave us $675 to buy resources for our Library.

Please find attached a copy of how to use our new app QKR App which you can put on your phone to pay school bills. At the moment you will find hats and bags on there we have also had special lunch which is now closed. So look for new excursions and sports to come plus next year school fees will be on there for easy payment through your phone.

Ronald McDonald House Charities South Australia
Ronald McDonald House relies on volunteers to support rural families with children receiving treatment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. We are currently running a campaign to recruit more volunteers.

Keeping our kids active is important!
Western Little Athletics Club is pleased to let you know that our FREE "Come and Try Athletics" night is being held on Friday 13th September at 6pm at the Henley Memorial Oval.
Little Athletics is a fun, social and active program for girls and boys aged 3 to 17. The program teaches a wide range of skills and events from running, throwing and jumping.

Tennyson Dunes Open day
Come to the Open Day at the Tennyson Dunes on Sunday 22 September and enjoy the buzzy atmosphere and fun, FREE activities.
Budding environmentalists can:
· join Gardening Australia's Sophie Thomson in making a native bee hotel
· take part in a range of fascinating FREE guided tours to search for lizards, birds and native food plants
· help Sea Shepherd in a micro-plastics survey
· learn at “Bugs ‘n’ Slugs”
· enjoy a sensory table of beach treasures
This will make for a fun and informative day out the whole family can enjoy so pop it in your diaries!

"SAVE THE CHILDREN" DONATION DRIVE
We would like to Thank everyone for your donations. West Beach Primary School has received this certificate to Thank us for our kind donations. Together we were able to donate 42 bags of clothing and accessories raising an estimate of $672 for children in need.

Name: Sally Guthrie
Something interesting about you: In 2000 I was working as a chef and was lucky enough to travel while I worked. First stop was Falls Creek for the snow season then off to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games before I traveled to Melbourne for the Spring Carnival. Since then I have become a mother and stepmother to 3 children and now working as an Student Support Officer.
