From the Principal

Term 3, Week 6, Kevin Kennedy

Dear Families,

Pupil Free Day and School Closure

A friendly reminder that students have an extra-long weekend coming up. The school is closed this Friday and staff will be at professional development day with other teachers from our local partnership on Monday. OSHC is available this Friday but not the Monday.

Parent Survey

Schools are required to create a yearly report on the satisfaction of the school community under the Australian Education Regulation 2013. This involves collecting data from student and parent satisfaction surveys.

The parent survey can be accessed through this link https://www.schoolsurvey.edu.au/s/3tccqH6K The information gathered through this survey is valuable and helps us with our planning for 2020 and beyond. It only takes a couple of minutes to complete and the survey results will be presented in the 2019 Annual Report.

50th Celebrations

Our open day/evening is only a couple of weeks away and we are making final preparations. Please see the attached  flyer for more information. There will be souvenir pens, key rings and stubby holders available for sale, funds will go towards the pool revamp.

Bookweek

We had a fantastic Bookweek parade last week. I would like to thank all the parents and family members who put some time into their child’s costume. I would also like to thank Mrs. Newcombe and Vicki for organising the events for the week and the West Beach staff for their dress up efforts.

If you have any queries or concerns please contact the school and book a time or pop in for a chat.

Kind regards,

Kevin Kennedy

Principal
