We look forward to working with you all soon.

Year 10 - Australian High School Cancer Challenge 2017
On Thursday 27 October, five students from our VCE 10 Biology class attended the inaugural 'High School Cancer Challenge Competition' of 2016.
We held our heads high, being the only public high school in attendance to network, participate and challenge against the plethora of private high schools from the inner city.
We were given the opportunity to visit the wet and dry labs of the number one genetics/immunological centres of the southern hemisphere; WEHI (Walter Eliza Hall Institute).
Our PhD student showed us some of the equipment that we have only ever talked about in class.
We listened to cutting edge research that is happening with cancer treatments right now by doctors in Parkville. We also got a head start on the new and improved VCE Biology study design.
Congratulations to Jade Tully, Harry Clarkson, Lauren Cox, Travis Bain and Matt (Dexter) Bushell for attending all the lunchtime sessions, to study for the challenge, as well as giving the day your utmost attention and enthusiasm.
Year 10 Science
Hands on Science is the way to go for a class of active boys, in my Science is Everywhere and Everything class.
We had fun looking at the structures of different compounds and how they come together using either covalent or ionic bonding.
Good luck for all the Year 10 students who are on the way to sit their exams next week. Remember to revise effectively and complete all the revision activities set.
