Congratulations Year 11 students
The VCE Team would like to congratulate the Year 11 class of 2016 for completing the year.
It has been a busy, challenging and successful year, and we commend each student on their achievements. Looking forward to seeing you all as Year 12 students in 2017.
Year 12 2016 VCAA Results
Now that Unit 3 & 4 examinations are finished, it’s time to play the waiting game until results are released on December 12.
The change of preference period is from the 12 – 19 December, and all changes must be done by December 20, at 12pm to VTAC.
Careers is open until December 16, so please drop into school, message or call Careers if you require assistance.
Holiday Homework
During Orientation Week, Year 11 students moving on to Year 12, received their holiday homework from each subject.
A reminder to all students that it is a requirement of Year 12 to complete this homework, and it will be due on the first day back next year (Tuesday 31 January).
A reminder that teachers will still be at school until December 19; so if there are any areas of confusion with Holiday Homework students MUST contact their teacher.
This homework is the preparation for your Year 12 studies, and it is important that you make the best start possible.
EDROLO Activation Process
Edrolo is a new initiative that Year 12 students in 2017 will have access to. It is a website that all students will have access to providing curriculum focused video lessons, exam practice, and study planning tools.

Please note, if you already have an Edrolo account, you can log in with the same details you've already been using and will not need to activate your account as per below.
If you don’t have an existing Edrolo account;
1. Go to edrolo.com.au/lilydale-high
2. Enter your surname and check that it
recognises your correct first name.
3. Enter your email address, mobile phone
number and select a password.
4. Click ‘Let me in’.
5. You'll then be logged into your account.
6. Please watch the short training video.

2017 Year 12 students
Study Retreat
Wednesday 1 to Friday 3 February
The VCE team is pleased to announce an exciting new initiative for the Year 12 class of 2017; a 'three-day study retreat' and university ‘taster’ at Deakin University in Burwood.
Students will fully experience campus life, attend lectures, staying in dormitory rooms/housing and use the university’s impressive facilities. Most importantly, the retreat will get the students off to a positive and productive start to their most important school year, providing them with an opportunity to set goals and develop essential study habits and revision skills.
The cost of the retreat is $300. The balance is due before Friday 9 December.
All students are expected to attend this valuable camp to give them the best opportunity for success in Year 12.

2017 Year 12 - Rugby Jumpers
Students in Year 11 received an order form for the Year 12 rugby jumpers in Home Group last week.
The cutoff date for ordering the Year 12 jumpers is Sunday 27 November. We have been advised that no orders will be taken after this date.
Orders must be made directly to Lowes at Lilydale Marketplace (not at school).
The cost is $82.00 including GST.
