Year 9 Home Group

Resilience Activities

This week, we returned our resilience focus back to Gratitude.

As we know, it takes only 21 days to rewire our brains to retain a pattern of scanning the world not for the negative but for the positive. This is vital for improving our mental health and overall wellbeing.

Students were asked to answer the below questions;

  • What was the best thing that happened to me on the weekend?
  • Who was I most grateful for during the weekend and why?
  • What am I looking forward to most about today?

Students were then encouraged to share their responses with the people around them or the whole class.

Student Absences

A reminder for parents and guardians, please assist us to fulfil our legal obligations and approve outstanding absences your child may have on COMPASS.

The Middle School Office, should be contacted if your child will be away for more than two days.

If you have forgotten your Compass username and password, please contact the Middle School Office and speak with Lauren Kelso.
