2018 Presentation Ball

On the 6th of September the year 11 students had their presentation ball.

For four weeks they had prepared for this night by practising dances learned from instructors after school and then on their own during their lunch times and by asking guests to join then on this night in a cultural dance that they wanted to share with their friends, family and staff members.

The day started at 3pm at Vogue Ballroom where the students arrived in their beautiful dresses and sharp suits to have their photos taken together. Later in the afternoon they had a dress rehearsal before their guests arrived. As their guests were arriving there was an excited energy that emanated from the students and it continued when they were presented to their family, friends and staff members. The students did an amazing job of learning the dances and involving their guests on the night. It was a spectacular event and everyone that was a part of it enjoyed it immensely.

A Special thanks to Pat Mulcahy, Michele Coxhill, Bree Hudson and Ipshita Bawa for assisting in presenting the students on the night.

“The Deb was a fun event to participate in, I enjoyed learning the dances and getting all dressed up , overall it was a great night and everybody else enjoyed it! “

“It was a great night to be a part of, not only getting dressed up but also learning new dances and interacting with people. Everyone that came enjoyed themselves and joined in dancing with us at the end of the night which made the whole night even better.”
