OSHClub Newsletter #2 Term 4 2017

Program update:

The program will closed from 23 December and will start back on Wednesday 31 January 2018.
During term 4, OSHclub’s policy is hats and sunscreen must be worn when outside. Please pack sunscreen for your child if they are sensitive to ‘Coles Brand Sunscreen’.
The foundation students have been walking down to after school care with no assistance from the educators this term. We have observed great success with this process, children have showed maturity by walking down sensibly.
Please feel free to add suggestions or feedback to the ‘parent’s suggestion box’ located on the sign in/out desk. We have received a few suggestions which have been added to the planner, we would love to see more!

The Children’s food pyramid

As parents, guardians and educators we need be role models to our younger generation. This week Huntingdale OSHClub increased the budget for fruit and vegetables, we understand how important this is for children’s mental and physical development. ‘Children’s food pyramid’ is a great reminder of the daily nutrition we should be teaching our younger generation.
