Team App Closure

 

Calrossy Team app has been a valuable source of communication for parents, players and coaches. With the introduction of the HUB in 2019, there is no longer a need for Calrossy to use Team App. Therefore, as of the beginning of Term 2, we will be closing Calrossy Team App. All sporting information and notifications will be done via the HUB.

Please ensure that you join the specific sports your child or children are playing, as this will allow you to receive all of the published information.

 

CIS Swimming Carnival

 

The CIS Swimming Carnival was held on Wednesday 20 March. Calrossy Primary had one student, Emmett Hall swim in this carnival. After qualifying 10th overall for the final of the 9 Year Boys 50m Freestyle, Emmett put in a wonderful effort to finish 4th. Congratulations on a great effort Emmett.  Well done.

 

 

 

 

Calrossy Primary Cross Country 2019

 

The Calrossy Primary School Cross Country will be held on Friday 5 April (week 10) at School and the students have been running at school in preparation. Children from Kindergarten to Year 6 will participate. Students in the Infants classes other than the 8 Year olds will participate in a “Fun Run” but cannot qualify for the HRIS Cross Country.

 

The top five students for each other age group (five boys and five girls) will be eligible to compete in the HRIS Cross Country on 3 May. If your child is in Year 2 but is only turning seven this year, they are ineligible for selection in the HRIS team. The age groups are 8’s, 9’s, 10’s, 11’s and 12’s. It is the age students are turning this year. From the HRIS Carnival, the HRIS team will then be selected under the age groups 8 and 9 Years (combined), 10 Years, 11Years and 12 Years.

PARKING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED NEAR THE HALL AS STUDENTS WILL BE RUNNING THROUGH THIS AREA.

 

Primary Winter Sport Nominations

 

Thank you to parents who have nominated their child in a Calrossy Winter Sport. Nominations have closed and we are still working closely on finalising teams for Rugby, Hockey and Netball. Team lists and information will be placed on the HUB by the middle of week 10.
