Extend OSHC News
Hello Everyone (:
At before and after school care this week students enjoyed a variety of art, cooking, sport and science activities!
On Tuesday we had painting on 2 tables, students used bright colours to paint cacti, flowers, space and their family. Other students enjoyed using more unique techniques such as droppers to carefully place colourful drops of water onto their paintings, leaving behind an amazing pattern when dried. Some students created mirror art by folding their paintings in half.
On Thursday we made Milo Balls. Students were able to organise ingredients and resources as well as allow everyone to have a role in the activity – measuring, pouring, mixing and preparing ingredients. Our Milo balls turned out awesome as always – an Extend favourite for sure!
On Friday we made slime – another favourite activity! Students can choose whether to follow slime recipes or make their own one up, adding things like baby oil, shampoo, shaving cream, glue and glitter to make an ooey-gooey mixture. What's your favourite kind of slime to make?
On Tuesday next week (2nd April) we have 2 fluffy visitors joining us at after care! The Guinea Pigs from our Pen Pal school, Mount Waverley Heights, are going to come and spend some time with us! Make sure you come to ASC to say hello and get a cuddle!
If you have any suggestions or new ideas for before and after care add it to our light bulb display using a whiteboard marker!

The Superstar of the Week is Cruz Ferres! Cruz is the Extend Superstar of the week for having such a positive attitude during his time at before and after school care, and sharing his interests with his peers. Well done Cruz!
