Leadership Report

This term has been one of the most eventful starts to a school year that I can remember. The ongoing challenges faced in dealing with COVID-19 have had a huge effect on everyone. 

One thing that has been particularly pleasing is the sustained focus that Magill School staff have had on making sure that our students can come to school each day and participate in a normal learning program. Our staff are fantastic and I cannot thank them enough for their work. It hasn't been easy facing the many challenges but all Magill staff have displayed a high level of commitment and care towards their students. They all deserve a  well-earned rest and a chance to recharge for a busy and exciting Term 2. 

The ongoing support and understanding of our community has been greatly appreciated by everyone on staff.  It makes our job so much easier with the backing and support that we have received from our families. Thank you!

There will be some updated information over the holidays in regards to COVID-19 protocols in schools for Term 2. I'll provide families with an update via email a few days before school returns.

I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday. I hope that you spend some quality time with family and loved ones and that the beautiful autumn weather continues.
