Principal's News
Mr Rodrigues
Dear Families,
As you can see by the picture above, our new playground surface is looking great and I feel, really adds some colour and improvement to our outdoor areas. It was fantastic to be able to open up the oval area on Tuesday so our children could play and explore the new surface. I must say, they have been extremely patient having had such a small space to use since the start of the term. It really does show our children's resilience and ability to accept these compromises for the benefit of the whole school. Work has now commenced on the basketball area and I hope, should be completed within two weeks. Thank you all for your own patience having to access the school through our side gate.
Safety
A reminder to us all that with an increase of congestion and traffic, particularly in the morning we need to excercise added caution when driving on both Kent Street and Davison Street.
School Photos
It was great to see so many of our children in their correct uniform yesterday for our school photos. It is a reminder of the importance of taking pride in our appearance and our school uniform. Once copies of the photos have been sent to the school we will allow students to take these home. This can take quite some time as the photographers need to ensure all photos are correctly labelled and printed.
Electoral Polling Place - Saturday May 21
Thankyou to all those parents helping to organize some fundraising activities for Saturday May 21st, when Trinity Primary School will host Polling Booths for our Federal Election. We are hoping to have a sausage sizle on the day as well as live music and a cake stall.
Covid Updates! Term 2, 2022
Once again I thank all parents in their endeavours to ensure COVID positive cases are reported as soon as possible so that the community can be informed and steps taken to ensure as few cases as possible occur at school. We are all well aware that there will continue to be positive cases for students as well as staff and parents so I encourage everyone to continue with all COVID safe practices particularly as we begin to enter the colder months.
Family Mass
A reminder that next Tuesday at 10am we will celebrate a mass together in our Church, St James. All parents are most welcome to attend.
Prayer
Dear God
Thank you for making each of us unique, created in every vast facet of your image. Thank you for all of the things we can learn from each other, our similarities and our differences. Allow us to see the special talents in everyone around us, especially those hidden behind behaviours we don’t understand or diagnoses which make us apprehensive.
Help us to move beyond stereotypes and preconceived notions to nurture the true spirit of all in our midst. Provide us with the resources needed to discover how we can each give back to you and our community, in our own creative and extraordinary ways.
Amen
