Hello Everyone. A message from your friendly neighborhood School Psychologist.

Reflecting on my first 8 months here at Aspire, I can honestly say that it has truly been amazing. I love the work we have all done and the relationships I have made. However, one piece that stands out for me is how confusing what I do can be. So I’d like to peel back the curtain just a bit and talk about the one area that most of our special education kids fall under (specific learning disability). Attached is a great sheet from LAUSD that talks about the different types and what it might look like in the classroom. I hope that this information helps.  I look forward to finishing up the year strong and the continuation of building those relationships with you all.
