Leadership

Let's take a minute to congratulate the NPS futsal team for defeating their opponent in the Semifinal of Division 1. It was heartwarming and a deciding factor to see some of the students supporting and chanting: NPS! NPS!

We wish them luck for the Final next week. Bring it home!

2023 Foundation Transition

We have completed our foundation transition program for this term, which has been very successful, and will continue into term four. Again, reminder that all relevant forms need to be presented before your child can be considered fully enrolled for 2023. These documents include an enrolment form, Birth Certificate and Immunization Certificate.

Arrangements for next week

Thursday September 15th - Last day of term for students - dismissal at 3:30 p.m.

Friday September 16th - Curriculum Day -Pupil Free Day

                                                  Last day of Term 3.

Student Toilet

We have resolved several concerns regarding the toilets, these included doors not locking and other damage from students not treating the area respectfully. We have repaired the broken locks and sewer blockage to the system. As a follow up we have raised our concerns at assembly and teachers have reinforced this in their classrooms.

New school buildings - further update

The classrooms - Rob and Daisy

They will be relocated next to the portable classroom behind Building C. This is expected to happen in the first two weeks of term four. During this time they will work in the multi purpose room during the first two weeks of term four.  We understand this is not ideal, but we currently have limited options. They will stay there until their portable is ready at the end of the second week of term four. Both grades will relocate to the portable and will remain there for the rest of the year.

Office/Administration

The main office area will be re-located to the current staffroom. To access this area will be from the rear through the auto doors. There will be no access from the existing entrances to the staffroom from the existing door way.

Pedestrian Access

Elizabeth Street pedestrian [main] gate will not be accessible to the school community from the start of term four. Pedestrian access will be via two separate entrances; Main carpark gate and the gate in the laneway. The staff carpark will be relocated and will not impact on pedestrian access.

Bike Storage

The bike storage area will be re-located inside the east boundary fence as a temporary storage area for the bikes.

Play Areas

All students will play on the bottom [east]oval during lunch and recess. They will also have access to the quadrangle area and the sensory play area outside of the Foundation/1 classrooms.

OOSHC

The program will continue to operate out of the multi-purpose room while Rob & Daisy occupy the room during school hours. We expect the program to return to its  current operations once Rob and Daisy return to their classroom.
