SOUTHERN CROSS CULTURAL EXCHANGE WEBINAR

At SCCE, we understand that there is a lot to consider when going on exchange, which is why we are happy to offer these regular online information webinars to teach you all about your student exchange options. Our online sessions go for approximately 60 minutes and guide you through everything from you need to know about our programs. There is also time at the end of the presentation to ask questions, providing a wonderful opportunity to interact with both our staff and other future exchange students.

headspace GROUP CHAT - THE PERFECTIONISM PREDICAMENT

Perfectionism can seem like a positive trait, as we often think it means doing well, and striving to do our best. However, for those living with the drive for perfection, it poses many challenges. It can impact our relationships with others, our mental health, and ironically, often result in us not doing as well as we could have.

 

Join our eheadspace clinicians and the headspace youth National Reference Group to learn more about what perfectionism might look like, its links to mental ill-health, and ideas about what to do if you think you might be experiencing perfectionism.

RBA ECONOMIC UPDATE WEBINAR FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Aimed at students in Years 11-12, this webinar will feature an RBA economist sharing insights on monetary policy and current economic conditions. It’s a great opportunity for students to get the latest information about what’s happening in the Australian economy and pose questions to an RBA economist. UN YOUTH WA STATE CONFERENCE 2022

Friday 2 September - Sunday 4 September | 9:00am - 5:00pm | Perth

State Conference is a three-day event that offers passionate students in Years 9–12 a unique opportunity to meet fellow students from all across Western Australia! The conference focusses on understanding and discussing important global issues through workshops and interactive problem-solving activities. There will be the opportunity to engage with and ask questions to academics in the field of International Relations and Political Science. There are also be a myriad of opportunities to both network and relax.

 

The UN Youth WA State Conference also hosts a day of Model UN debate. Students will spend some time acting as a diplomat – doing their best to pass resolutions that will benefit the global community and align with their national interests. 

 

All meals, accommodation, and venue costs are included in the price. Full and half-scholarships are available.

SHE CODES FEMALE FOUNDERS PROGRAM

Innovation education for entrepreneurial women is here, with She Codes Female Founders Program! This five week program is designed for She Codes Alumni, local female founders and those in the Perth community who are keen to learn the basics of running, and growing a successful business. With weekly facilitated sessions, you’ll be armed with the necessary skills to kick-start business growth, while learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Following the program, you’ll have both a community and the practical tools to help you succeed.
