CELEBRATING ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE@CSPS

AIP Evaluation

On Monday 21st November the School Improvement team (SIT) presented the end of year Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) and Differentiated Support for School Improvement (DSSI) report to our Senior Education Improvement Leader (SEIL), Anne Martin.

Each team member presented their Action Plans - Writing, Mathematics, Wellbeing and Professional Learning Communities. Items discussed included actions, data and evidence in relation to the plans.  This discussion will guide us as to where we head into the new AIP for 2023 and our upcoming School Review in Term 2, 2023.

We had a great response to the Student led Conferences in week 8 of this term.  Two hundred student were able to share their learning with their parents.  Many parents were surprised to think that they were being tested by answering inferential questions! I wonder how they went?

Year One and Two News

This term in Year One and Two we have been focusing on a different fairy tale each week. Through the fairy tales we have been completing different reading, writing and STEM tasks.   We made and decorated gingerbread men, built bridges for the Three Billy Goats Gruff, built houses made of straws for the Three Little Pigs and made our own Paper Bag Princesses.

Semester Reports

Semester 2 reports will be sent home next week via Compass.  These reports should be read in conjunction with the Learning Tasks which go out each term and provide information about your child's learning.  These Learning tasks include reading, writing and mathematics each with four examples across the year. These can also be accessed via Compass.
