This week in production preparations, we have allocated more singing solos.
We now have Isabella Fitzpatrick (Grade 5) & Marlowe Nolan-Jeanes (Grade 4) to add to the previously announced Max Hendry (Grade 2), Charlie Green (Grade 3), and Mia Gartland-Plata (Grade 3).
These students will be singing a solo section with their house cohorts and Mia is performing a solo with the choir. They will also be leading the whole school finale song.
We also have some of our main characters who will be performing solos.
Our main characters have been double cast and each cast will perform on 1 night.
They are:
(in order of appearance)
TEDDY - Bronte Higgins & Hugo Morley-Pilven
RAFF (the clown puppet) - Adam El-Alo & Tolly Iliadis (both also performing solos)
BUSTER THE BROOM - Elijah Gibson & Bodeen Gardner
CANDY (the fairy doll) - Zephy Smith & Veronica Smith
GRACE (the mirror) - Esther Ridge & Isabel Cooper (also singing a solo)
They have been rehearsing their dialogue and stage movements during lunchtimes at school and have also commenced after school rehearsals on a Monday.

Do you know what the story is about?
I am sure your children will be able to tell you a little about the characters, Buster, Teddy, Candy, Grace & Raff, and the journey this story takes them on in search of new homes.
There are lots of characters along the way including fairy tale characters, pirates, teddy bears, puppets, children at a hospital and shoppers at a garage sale.
Buster the broom is quite rude and tough....................or is he?

All students will appear on stage 3 times and rehearsals are progressing with great excitement!
What time do they need to be there?
As we progress through the term, more information will be published on this page regarding times for arriving on the night and any other arrangements necessary.
Please mark the dates in your calendar/diary if you haven't already done so, and don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions at this stage.
