Congratulations to Ebonie Lewis for successfully securing a school based apprenticeship at Equilibrium Hair.

Ebonie will combine the study of a Certificate III in Hairdressing and on-the-job training at Equilibrium Hair whilst completing her HSC.

Our selected Year 10 Aboriginal students are being exposed to the higher education system and developing skills and knowledge that will act as a foundation for their future to study and work at UNE.

Joblink plus supports our young people in transitioning to work and further training post school. This is a great opportunity for students seeking employment or taking a GAP year to gain skills and secure employment.

The Transition to Work Program can assist young people with;

- getting a driver’s licence

- helping out with things they need for work such as uniforms and tools of trade

- supporting young people to gain new skills and qualifications (e.g. RSA, RCG, White Card)

- connecting with employers and job opportunities

-connecting with TAFE and other community services

- personalised mentoring
