News from the Chicken Coop

Thank-you to everyone who helped to look after the Chickens over the school holidays. They are certainly very happy to see all of the students back at school today.

If you would like to be on the roster to care for the chickens on the weekend in Term 4 then please email Melinda Kerwin mkerwin@sjmitcham.catholic.edu.au with your preferred dates. First in, first choice of dates!

Egg Lotto

The next draw will be on Monday, 10 October. There will be a couple of dozen eggs available to win so get your $1 raffle ticket soon. The Environment Team will be out the front of the school on Wednesday afternoons from 3:15 - 3:30pm to sell tickets to parents. Students can also buy tickets in the Passive Play area most mornings or ask someone in the Year 5/6 rooms. All money raised goes directly into the upkeep of our chickens.
