What another busy week it has been at ACPS, between Athletics Day and Book Week activities. 

Book Week

The students have absolutely loved reading a selection of picture books this week that have been shortlisted by the CBCA. You can enjoy sharing these books with your child via Story Box Library online. Username: acps2022 & Password: acreek

Coding

The Grade 2 students have been learning about coding over the last couple of weeks during our ICT time. The two most popular 'Hour of Code' sessions have been Dance Party and Minecraft where they have made animals dance to music and Minecraft characters move through obstacles. Athletics Day

It may have been wet, but that did not dampen our spirits on Thursday at Athletics Day! Prep, Grade 1 and 2 students were very excited to set off on a bus! When they arrived students rotated every 10 minutes around 9 fun activities. There was hurdles, tunnel ball, soccer, quoits, an egg and spoon race, skipping, running, frisbee, stilts and even a relay! To end the day, students had a turn at running the 400 metres lap around the track! Well done everyone for your partipation and efforts. Thank-you to all the parents and careers who helped on the day!
