Principal's Report

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL 

After very little sleep worrying about the weather and possible rain- we decided to take our chances and head to the Aths Track.  It was fantastic to see all our students really enjoying the day, trying new activities and renewing friendships like the girls above! The rain certainly didn't dampen their spirits!

Thank you to all the parents who came to support us and to the teachers for their positive energy encouraging all students, time keeping, recording and measuring their success on the field.

The District Aths Carnival is on Thursday September 1 at Doncaster Aths Track - further details will be coming our on Monday.

A highlight as always is the Prep lap of honour with their grade 6 buddies!

Maddy has done a fabulous job taking our amazing Prep C class while Mrs Callaway recovers from knee surgery.

The Prep Families celebrated with Maddy this afternoon. Thanks Maddy!

BOOK WEEK CELEBRATIONS:

What a fantastic turn out at our Book week parade this morning!

It was great to see so many parents supporting this event. Weren't the costumes just amazing! Wait until you see the staff pictures below!

Many thanks to our Library Captains - Maggie, Max  and  Sierra for their efforts running the Assembly, the Drawing Competition and the Book Quiz! Great work. Thanks also to Linda and Jess for their organisation of the day. Lots of fun activities happened.

ENROLMENTS: 

Enrolments are welcome for 2023. We are keen to receive enrolment forms as early as possible so we can plan for next year. Thank you so much.

CURRICULUM DAY: MONDAY SEPT 5 - students not required at school. 

Our 3 way interview timetable is up on Compass and you can now select when you would like your interviews - either on line or face to face between 12 noon and 6 pm.

Arts Festival:  Tuesday 13th September                 4pm - 5:30pm

Students, parents, families and friends are warmly invited to the last Tuesday of this term, 4 - 5:30pm, for our bi-annual Arts Festival. Our wonderful students have been working hard throughout the term to design, make and create a variety of fabulous artworks. Students will have their work on show in their classrooms and in the art room. See your child’s art and visit different classrooms to see what other students have been busy creating. Come and share in this exciting afternoon with us!
