Volleyball WA Schools Cup

On August 19 and then August 25-27, Trinity entered five teams into the annual Volleyball WA Schools Cup, held at various venues across Perth. This provided valuable game play against some of the best teams in the state, including Volleyball specialist schools we don’t encounter during the PSA season. All our Trinity teams played to a very high standard and are to be commended for their competitiveness and sportsmanship across the tournament.

There were notable improvements from our players, both in terms of team play and individually.  On paper, the results were not what we might hope for, however we must consider that many other teams are nearing the end of their season, and so have had a lot more court time together.

Special thanks must go to Old Boys Thomas Bristow Stagg, Willem Lamers and Keefer Smith for taking up coaching roles over the tournament, assisting staff coaches Mr Ryan Lockyer, Mr Sean Carroll, Mr Bobby Emmanuel and Mr Craig Adams.

Thank you to all the parents and supporters who came down to cheer our boys on. We are looking forward to seeing our players continue to improve and enjoy Volleyball this coming PSA season.
