Senior School Report
Term 3 is a very busy term in the Senior School. Our students have been participating in a number of activities preparing their selves for 2023 and beyond. The term began with the Year 10’s going on Work Experience. It was great to see our students taking their first steps into the world of work and exploring jobs they may be of interest in the future. Senior School students also participated in the Course Counselling process where, along with parents and or guardians decided on their subjects for next year. It was very pleasing to see so many families join in the counselling process.
As the school holidays draw closer we begin looking towards Term 4 which means the end of school for our Year 12’s and the final exams for many of our VCE students that begin with English and EAL on Wednesday 26th October and run until Wednesday 16th November. There are practice exams running over the school holidays on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th for all students who are doing a Unit 3&4 study. These practice exams are an important part of the exam preparation process and we look forward to seeing all students who are preparing for final exams at the practice exams.
We are all very much looking forward to celebrating with our Year 12’s their final days of school and wishing them well for the future at both the Celebration Day on Thursday 20th October and also at the Graduation Ceremony in the Robert Blackwood Hall at Monash University on 31st October. We are so pleased to be back at Robert Blackwood Hall and look forward to celebrating with all Year 12 students and their families.
We hope all our Senior School students have a lovely term break. We hope the Year 12 students balance the break to recharge with plenty of study and preparation and look forward to seeing everybody back at school on Monday 3rd October for what will be a very busy Term 4.
